Bloor Street Retail Corridor

Bloor retailers

  • This area represents Toronto’s most upscale retail and residential neighborhood, and is recognized by tourists as one of the premier shopping destinations in the world, home to numerous international retailers such as Cartier, Chanel, Hermes, Tiffany’s, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, and Versace. The Bloor strip is characterized by heavy traffic patterns, with over 30,000 vehicles and 10,000 pedestrians on average per day.
  • The Bloor Street retail leasing market is very strong, characterized by minimal vacancy, strong demand and increasing rental rates. A steady supply of international retailers actively covet a Bloor Street presence, in a similar manner as other acclaimed areas such as Fifth Avenue in New York, the Magnificent Mile in Chicago and Robson Street in Vancouver.
  • The corridor has been strengthened further over the past 10 years with the opening of numerous multi-level flagship retail stores, in addition to several newly constructed mixed-use developments. Over 2000 luxury residential units have been added in the district in the past decade.
  • The Bay-Yorkville TTC Station provides nearby access to public transit.
